warm Bank Holiday weather for the first time….in what seems like ever!! …And seven years ago this week, Girasol Homes made its first tentative steps into the world of Spanish property finding. Managing Director and founder Nigel Salmon started the business from his office in his west Wales farmhouse and despite a tricky start, which coincided with the property crash in most European markets, Nigel has taken the business from strength to strength, ensuring that Girasol Homes are now the property finders of choice for hundreds of satisfied clients.
Nigel has recently added to his team of specialist property finders in Spain by acquiring the services of Paul Cox (Murcia) and Sarah Johnson (Javea). Both are very experienced have superb track records and will be excellent additions to the team.
Nigel has built the business on the back of the internet with the award winning website at the hub of the majority of enquiries. The website itself continues to be improved; the new registration form is now up and running, along with a free guide on how to buy property in Spain. Further developments on the registration document and the website as a whole are planned for later in the year.
The business is unrecognisable from what it was seven years ago. In large part that is down to the way Nigel has grown the business with timely and effective developments in response to changes in the property market in Spain.
More reasons to celebrate …The website experienced its highest ever number of ‘hits’ last weekend. The most popular areas were the towns of Guardamar del Segura, La Marina Torrevieja and Torre de la Horadada. Mar Menor Golf Resort and Mijas Costa and Mijas Pueblo were also very popular.
